QUA'AN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN JOINS SGS ARC SAMUEL JATUA, THEOPHILUS DAKAS SHAN AND OTHERS AT HON. CYRIL LONGPUAN'S 80TH BIRTHDAY THANKSGIVING MASS

 


The Executive Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship, joined the Secretary to the State Government (SGS) of Plateau State, Architect Samuel Jatua, Special Adviser on National Party Affairs to Plateau State Governor, Hon. Theophilus Dakas-Shan, and other well-wishers at Hon. Cyril Longpuan's 80th birthday Thanksgiving Mass held at the Catholic Church of Annunciation Pastoral Area, Tutun Wada, Jos.


Earlier, the SGS described Hon. Longpuan as a man of immense contributions, whose dedication to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Qua'an-Pan and Plateau State as a whole is unparalleled. He recalled the pivotal role Cyril Longpuan played during the 2023 general elections that led to the victory of PDP in the state.


On behalf of the Plateau State Government, Arc. Jatua wished Hon. Longpuan long life and good health. He noted that the government of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is an all-inclusive administration that caters to all Plateau citizens, regardless of ethnicity or religion.


Speaking during the Thanksgiving Mass, the Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship, congratulated Hon. Cyril Longpuan on his 80th birthday. He stated that Hon. Longpuan is a strong and dedicated individual whose impact has been felt in Qua'an-Pan. Hon. Manship applauded the celebrant's humanitarian efforts, describing him as a selfless leader.


The chairman recalled Hon. Longpuan's service to Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, where he served in various capacities. On behalf of Qua'an-Pan Local Government, the chairman wished Hon. Cyril Longpuan a happy birthday and prayed for his long life.


In a gesture of goodwill and support, the chairman donated one million naira (N1,000,000) to the church, encouraging the congregation to remain steadfast in their faith and continue to uphold the teachings of Christ.


In his remarks, Hon. Cyril Longpuan expressed profound gratitude to God for the gift of life and extended his sincere appreciation to the government, friends, family, and well-wishers for celebrating this milestone birthday with him, stating that he is deeply humbled and thankful.


Through the lens of the gospel reading, Rev. Fr. Stephen O.Chukwu expounded on the boundless potential of faith, encouraging the congregation to emulate the celebrant's life of dedication and service, as he invoked divine blessings upon Hon. Longpuan and the entire assembly.
