QUA'AN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, COMMITTED TO DELIVER GOVERNOR MUTFWANG IN 2027

The local government appointees of Qua'an-Pan passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship, reaffirming their commitment to deliver Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang's second tenure in 2027.
The appointees made this known when the Chairman hosted them in the legislative chamber of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council Secretariat, Ba'ap, for a meeting aimed at enhancing governance in the local government.
Earlier, the Chairman called on the appointees to join hands in driving development in the local government, noting that Qua'an-Pan Local Government belongs to all of them and it is their responsibility to ensure its progress. Hon. Manship urged the appointees to be ambassadors of the PDP-led administration in their respective communities, emphasizing that Governor Mutfwang has unlocked opportunities for them and it is their duty to support his administration's agenda of "The Time Is Now" to drive development in the state.
The Chairman commended Governor Mutfwang for his pragmatic leadership, which has brought significant development across the state, describing it as a blessing to Plateau State. He recalled that Plateau State was once in a state of despair, with many roads impassable, but with the Governor's intervention, almost all the roads are now in good condition, and Jos Metropolis has been transformed.
The Chairman reassured Qua'an-Pan citizens of Governor Mutfwang's commitment to road network projects in Qua'an-Pan, noting that the contractors handling the Jibam-Kurgwi road, with spurs to various communities in Qua'an-Pan, would commence work soon after the rainy season.
Hon Manship reiterated his administration's commitment to human capital development, announcing plans for another phase of empowerment programs aimed at alleviating poverty in the local government.
The chairman charged the appointees to distance themselves from any political activities not associated with the PDP and urged them to always be loyal to the party and government of the day, emphasizing that loyalty is paramount.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman assigned all the appointees from various wards to collectively sit and bring the needs of their wards to the Council for consideration.
The Deputy Chairman, Hon. Parlong Chrysantus Kangshal, urged the appointees to always represent the government in their respective wards and to preach the gospel of "The Time Is Now" administration and the transformative governance of "This Is The Way" led administration of the Council Chairman.
Also speaking, the Council Secretary, Hon. Joseph Dashe, encouraged the appointees to unite together and timely support the Chairman's vision in transforming Qua'an-Pan, which he said the Chairman had demonstrated exemplary leadership in Qua'an-Pan, and commended him for his dedication.
The PDP Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government, Alh. Lawal Barry, also speaking at the meeting, urged the appointees to join forces with the party to deliver all PDP candidates in 2027, while commending the Chairman for his support to the party's welfare in the local government, particularly the monthly stipend of N2 million to the party.
In a heartfelt expression of appreciation, the appointees collectively thanked the Chairman for entrusting them with the appointment. They applauded him for his visionary leadership in bringing development and peace to Qua'an-Pan, which they said has ushered in a new era of prosperity and stability. They also expressed gratitude to Hon. Manship for empowerment of sixty businessmen and women with other related empowerment and also his commitment to the educational sector in Qua'an-Pan through scholarships that cut across all levels of education.
