QUA'AN-PAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN HOSTS FORMER PDP WARD CHAIRMEN, CALLS FOR PARTY SUPPORT AND UNITY
In a bid to strengthen the party's foundation, the Executive Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Audu Manship, hosted former People's Democratic Party (PDP) ward chairmen, calling for support and unity within the party.
The forum, led by the local government Forum Chairman, Allahnana, paid a familiarization visit to the Chairman at Felix Dakyap Guest House.
The visit aimed to introduce the leadership of the forum and to affirm their commitment to work closely with the party in navigating the complexities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Forum Chairman commended Hon. Manship for his dedication to the party in Qua'an-Pan, which he said has been exemplary and will undoubtedly motivate party loyalists to continue supporting the party with unwavering enthusiasm. He emphasized that all the former chairmen would rally their former executive members to form a cohesive team to ensure the party's continued projection at the grassroots level.
Earlier, the PDP LGA Chairman of Qua'an-Pan Local Government, Alh. Lawal Barry, commended the forum's initiative, tagging it as a significant boost to the party, and declared to work harmoniously with the former ward chairmen to ensure PDP victory in 2027. He noted that the developmental strides of the council chairman in Qua'an-Pan, coupled with those of the state government, provide a robust foundation for the party to build on.
Responding, the Council Chairman congratulated the forum leadership, lauding the initiative as commendable and timely. He assured his administration's commitment to work with all the former PDP ward leaders, acknowledging that they are the backbone of the party.
The Chairman called on them to stand firm in projecting the party positively and urged them to distance themselves from any activities that may undermine the party's interests, asserting that it is highly unlikely any opposition party will surpass PDP's dominance in Plateau State.
Hon. Manship encouraged them to continue supporting the "The Time Is Now" administration of His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, whose leadership has elevated Plateau State and fostered unity.
As part of his commitment to the welfare of the party, the Chairman donated a cash of one million naira to the former PDP chairmen, urging them to foster unity and contribute innovative ideas that will further strengthen the party's position in Qua'an-Pan. He expressed optimism that PDP will emerge victorious in all positions in Plateau State in 2027.
